Writing has always been at the core of my work. Most of the marketing and design projects that I have worked on have a significant writing component. Whether it is web content, advertisements, or product brochures, it is crucial to speak through the brand with compelling and accurate content. My writing often reflects the brand's voice, adhering to relatively strict guidelines that create a brand's personality. Other times, my own voice shines through, as in the case of writing a review or blog post. When writing a biographical piece, I try and capture the subject's personality, not only in content but in tone. In all cases, I offer professionalism and quality content.
Blog posts serve two purposes. The primary goal is to communicate the post's message, whether product information designed to influence a purchase decision, a biographical interview, or an opinionated article with a point of view. Secondarily, it is to advance a website's SEO or search engine optimization.
This delicate balancing act between writing for a searchbot and a human reader can make writing a blog post quite challenging. When I write, I keep both of these in mind, using the appropriate keywords and design hierarchy necessary for SEO ranking while keeping it interesting and coherent for the audience.

I have significant experience in writing brand copy that explains, instructs, informs, and sells. Each type of marketing collateral has specific requirements and style and must reflect the tone of the brand.

I frequently write music and entertainment reviews. These are entirely different than writing for the web or copywriting for a marketing piece. The very nature of this type of writing is to express my opinion, and I can add more of my personality to an article. I can be a bit more playful in my approach and style, which is always fun.
